Friday, May 1 | 7 am – 4 pm
$750 Physicians: | $0 Neurosurgical Team, Residents/Fellows/Medical Students

This full-day symposium convenes leading neurosurgeons, military veterans, industry innovators and business leaders to explore the intersection of high-performance team dynamics, leadership, service and innovation in spine care. Guided by the ongoing leadership and vision of Dr. Regis W. Haid Jr., the non-CME event draws actionable insights from elite surgical teams, special operations forces and executive leadership models. A light breakfast will be served from 7 – 7:30 am and a boxed lunch will be provided at midday.

Topics span cervical arthroplasty, advanced fixation techniques, spine surgery in elite athletes and high-performance individuals, robotics, AI, disc regeneration, endoscopy, social media’s role in modern practice and emerging neurorestorative technologies. This diverse and dynamic program is designed to challenge current thinking, inspire clinical excellence and shape the future of spine surgery.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Evaluate advanced surgical techniques in cervical spine care, including arthroplasty, laminoplasty, cervical pedicle fixation and minimally invasive solutions for complex cases such as burst fractures and spinal deformities.
  2. Apply leadership and performance strategies from military and high-performance fields to improve team function, decision-making and outcomes in surgical environments and high-stakes clinical scenarios.
  3. Assess the current and emerging role of innovation in spine surgery—including robotics, artificial intelligence, disc regeneration and neurorestorative technologies—and determine their potential impact on patient care and clinical practice.
