CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) ACCREDITATION

The main goals of the 2024 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting are to serve as a primary source of continuing medical education, advance neuroscience research and promote a climate conducive to excellence in clinical practice. The 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting Committee is dedicated to meeting these goals.
The 2024 Annual Meeting is the ultimate resource for the transfer of scientific, technical and intellectual information to the neurosurgical community. Feedback obtained from the online attendee evaluation survey is critical when determining program content. Special recognition is extended to the individuals of the Annual Meeting Committee and Scientific Program Subcommittee and the committees they represent for their perseverance and commitment to making the meeting a success.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After attending the 2024 Annual Meeting, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply advanced techniques for treatments within their sub-specialties.
  2. Describe complication avoidance in the treatment of diseases to their peers.
  3. Recognize techniques used in surgical treatments for improved outcomes and complication avoidance.
  4. Identify ways to advocate for patients and practices in the ever-changing healthcare field.
