What Matters at the 2024 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting

Dear Colleague,

The theme of the 2024 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in Chicago, May 3-6, is— What Matters — a topic of exceptional relevance at a time of great societal change and technological disruption — when all of us need to reconsider our appropriate roles and responsibilities in the broader fabric of modern civilization.

This year’s meeting — held for the first time in the new and inspiring McCormick Square — has been completely re-designed and is composed of multiple synergistic elements encouraging reflection, dialogue and the generation of new perspectives.

Highlights of the scientific program include:

  1. Streamlined Plenary sessions featuring:
    1. Comprehensive reviews of what really matters in contemporary neurosurgery.
    2. Outstanding invited lecturers addressing themes of universal significance
  2. An Artificial Intelligence Immersion experience
  3. An “Envision and Creation Program,” designed to engage solution-focused neurosurgeons in cooperative exercises to address some of the most pressing issues in neurosurgery
  4. An unprecedented, guided learning experience for health care executives interested in learning more about the present and future of neurological surgery.

Numerous social events are planned throughout the meeting, including an outstanding Chicago neighborhood theme, which will be shared soon.

We have created a “must-know,” content-rich program for the 2024 Annual Meeting, highlighting information of consequence and value at a crucial stage in the history of neuroscience — and the world we contribute to.

We look forward to seeing you in Chicago.

Sincerely,
