Introduction: Don’t miss your chance to hit it out of the park at the NeuroHub Wiffle Ball Contest, where every swing supports the NREF! Join us to help enhance lives by enhancing neurosurgical care.

 

Event Details:

Why Participate?

  • Support NREF: Every swing contributes directly to the Neurosurgical Research & Education Foundation (NREF) which focuses on improving treatment options and educational capabilities in neurosurgery.
  • Compete for a Cause: Your participation helps determine seeding for non-playoff residency program teams in the annual Neurosurgery Charity Softball Tournament!

How to Participate:

  1. Purchase Swings: Buy 10 at-bats for $25. Every swing brings us closer to groundbreaking research and improved educational opportunities.
  2. Join a Team: Participate as a member of your current institution or your residency program OR represent yourself by playing as an individual!
  3. Go to Bat: Visit the NeuroHub Wiffle Ball Cage on the Exhibit Floor to take your swings and contribute to your team’s score.

Event Schedule:

  • Friday, May 3: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Saturday, May 4: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Sunday, May 5: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM

Location: The Wiffle Ball Contest’s batting cage will be set up in the NeuroHub, located in the Exhibit Hall.

Leaderboard and Social Media: Track your swings and see how your residency program ranks! Individual hit leaders and affiliated residency programs will be featured on a leaderboard screen next to the batting cage and updated in real time on our social media platforms.
