Dear Colleague:

Roberto Suazo, a graduate of the Art Institutes specializing in Media Arts, has over 14 years of experience as the Senior Project Design Manager and Art Director at the University of Miami’s Department of Neurological Surgery. He recently transitioned to the role of Senior Project Manager of Design at UTHealth Houston Neuroscience.

Mr. Suazo has produced remarkable media content for the AANS over the last few years, and his inspirational videos, in particular, have garnered widespread acclaim. This year, he has created a series of thoughtful, artistic projects designed to enhance and provoke meaningful discussions around the theme “What Matters” for our 2024 Annual Meeting, viewable below.

Mr. Suazo is an esteemed professional whose innovative contributions have benefited multiple medical organizations, including the AANS. His distinctive approach to visually interpreting complex themes via digital technologies and social media has profoundly expanded our understanding of the power of design arts in conveying critical messages. We are grateful for his ongoing dedication and exceptional artistic prowess, which continue to enrich our organization.
